We owe you a note about our cavoodle boy (Bear, as in Teddy!) and some photos. He is a love! I took him to training school at 4 months and he was a star. Quite smart and loveable and loves to play fetch. He doesn't like to be alone, though, so I leave the tv on for noise. He is a wonderful family dog and we thank you!

Hi Jerry, Sorry it took so long to send you the photos of our Sadie, your Happy Go Lucky. She really does fit the name you picked for her. I kind of wished I had kept it. She is the best best dog ever. People call her the Zen Dog and the groomer wrote Angel on her card. I take her everywhere I go. She is soooo sweet. Alot of people have asked me for your web site. Hello Jerry,
I have been wanting to write and send pics of our Yorkiepoo, Cassie. We absolutely adore her and she is an important member of our family! We weren't sure how big she'd be, but she turned out to be 8 lbs., which is just what you said--thank you! She looks just like a Yorkie, but is a bit bigger and has a longer snout. Her disposition is sweet, loving, friendly, playful and cuddly. She is incredibly smart, having learned about 20 trickes and commands and just loves to learn. We have attached some recent pictures of the best dog ever. Thank you for breeding for disposition as well as for "look."
The problem we had early on with her digestive system and food--we found out that if the food was too rich, i.e. had too many oils, her system couldn't handle it. She is now eating Natural Balance and it is a great dog food for her. Just an fyi. It was hard to figure out!!

I purchased my perfect little dog in May of 2006. He is an all black "chorkie". I just want to say that it is the best decision I ever made and he has brought so much joy and happiness to my life. He is lovable and has a wonderful tempermant. He doesn't shed, doesnt get too hyper, and was easy to train. I get compliments regularly on how cute, well-behaved, and affectionate he is.

We came out a few weeks ago to look at your puppies and went home with a little boy Shih Tzu I think you called him Igor? We call him Jack ( my son said he reminds him of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean) He is fantastic and I just wanted to thank you again. He is the smartest dog and has the best temperment of any dog I've ever seen. He fits into our family so well and is great with children and likes chasing our cats but just stares at them when he corners them, I think he just likes the running after them part :) He also plays fetch with a little hackey sack ball and it is the funniest thing that he retrieves so well as his small size but he did it all on his own and it's his favorite game. Anyways thanks again for this great little puppy he is really perfect for us! Every day I am amazed at his personality and how well behaved he is. What great dogs you raise out there!

Woke up this morning to a beautiful day. Let the dogs out do do their thing and a few minutes later without looking, opened the door to this!
After the surprise and mud all over the bedroom and the bed, I caught her and in the tub she went! I had replaced a sprinkler and i guess the new moist dirt was too much to resist. The last photo is after the bath and scolding. I guess kids will be kids!

Jerry, a few photos of Timmy, now 4 months old. He captured my husband's heart (who did not want a second dog!)...I knew Timmy would win him over...without a doubt! His temperment is sweet, he is smart, loves to eat, and tries really hard with house breaking. For your extra care, concern and for going the extra mile for me in this big decision for a pup.

Terri and Bruce here. We got one of Gypsys pups (female Yorkie type). Just wanted to let you know that our baby "Kisha" is the center of our world. She is so much fun and sooo much company. She looks alot like a monkey and is the cutest dog I have ever had.
We are still having issues with potty training but I think we are starting to make some headway. She sleeps in our bed with us (ofcourse) and is very good until the alarm goes off. If I push the snooze she will lie down and wait for the next alarm before she will bother me again.
I hope all is well with you. I can't believe Kisha's brother hasn't found a home yet (Gypsy boy). Someone is really missing out. We will bring her out to see you sometime. Bruce is working out of town alot so I don't know when.

Here's an update on Dani-5 months.
She is doing great. She is a jumper. No dog food-after the scare of tainted food. I had about 15 cans of various varieties. Thank goodness she wouldn't eat it at the time. She is a very pickie eater, otherwise we may have lost her.
I fix her roast chicken, hamburger, anything she will eat. This eating thing with her has been a real challenge. My other dog would eat anything but carrots.
We are enjoying her to the fullest. Got her a car set. She goes with me everywhere.
The summer time is going to present more challenges. Can't leave her in the car. But we will manage. She is a perfect traveler.
Have an appt. this afternoon at the vet for getting toe nails trimmed and a weigh in. Have had all shots and rabies so we're good for now.

Good news! I took my new puppy to my vet "Dr. Dave" Stillian at Meadow Vista Veterinary Clinic. He gave the pup a clean bill of health, Good heart, bones , ect.
I have named him "SCRAPS" Scrappy Q. Watts. Scraps is a very good Puppy, very mellow , healthy and happy. He gave Scraps his next series of vaccinations and started him on Heart worm meds and frontline.
I am so glad to have found Flashback Kennel. When I told my vet about my experience with you and your puppies he said he was very impressed with what I said about you. I have reccomended you to some of my friends that are looking for the kind of dogs you breed. When we come back to the Corning area we will stop by and see you again. I would like to see the rest of your animals on your farm.
Thank you for sending my Visa Card back to me. I received it the next day. I missed it when we stopped at PETCO in Yuba City on the way home to buy the new baby some food and toys and a place to sleep.
I am very happy with my Shi-Poo puppy Mr. Scraps. Tell his mommy and daddy he will have a loving happy home!
When he goes to bed at night he sleeps all night. Do you put the puppies in a crate or something? He seems content to go into his crate for the night. No whining or barking.

Just wanted to let you know that we just adore our new shipoo pups. They fit right in with our family, my kids just love them and the puppies can't get enough of kids either! I can't believe thier temperment, my vet and the groomer both commented on how loving and well mannered they were. Toby is the older one and he is our cuddle bug, and Baxter is the younger one and he is full of energy, he loves to play and gives the best kisses! The dogs are potty training quickly. Attached are a couple of pictures of Maggie. She has become our "princess" She has been adopted by our 10 year old Golden and they play for hours. She has brought Barney (our Golden) into his second childhood! Although only a little more that 5 months old, she can sit, stand, shake hands, stay, come, and fetch! This is the smartest dog we've ever owned. I wish our kids learned so fast. She continues to light up our lives everyday.

Thank you so much for our beautiful Eloise. She is just amazing. Here is a picture of her in her new home, she’s just had her first haircut and she actually slept through the entire process! The groomer fell in love with her. She is the sweetest most loving puppy I have ever seen. Her temperament is amazing. She is MORE than perfect! She slept in her crate next to our other two dogs in their crates and didn’t cry at all through the night. They have already adopted her as their little sister and seem to be as fascinated with her as we are! She is, honestly, the sweetest and most mellow, loving and easy-going creature I have ever seen. We take her everywhere and she is so adaptable and friendly to everyone.

It was good to see you and your puppies again! We are so pleased with how wonderful and smart that “Maya” is! Your mix of Maltese and L/H Chihuahua is awesome. We knew from the moment we saw your puppies that they were different than any others we had seen. They are more friendly and loving than any others.

Just wanted to let you know how well Koko (shichon) is doing with us. She's almost 16 weeks now and is doing great! We can't believe how much we can love her, especially me who has never had a dog before! As you said, she's starting to turn a little brown, mostly around her nose and belly. We should have named her Shadow because she just follows me around everywhere, but her name "Koko" will fit her perfectly as her color changes.

I wanted to share some new pictures of our sweet Pug/Chihuahua puppy Joey we received from you earlier this year. He has brought so much laughter and happiness to our family. I didn't realize just how much love you can share with your dog :)
Joey has such great personality! He's now six months old and just under eight pounds, very barrel chested, muscular, and agile. He loves running and we've trained him to jump through rings which he LOVES. He was potty trained within the first couple of weeks (we trained him to ring jingle bells to go potty outside~great trick). He's so incredibly smart and eager to please.
Everywhere we go people want to stop and visit with him, and everyone wants to know where we got him. I always let them know about your wonderful pups! Joey is beautiful and so smart and happy. Thank you so much for this precious gift.

Hi Jerry...Thought you'd like to know that "Kelsi" is doing wonderfully. She's been with me for seven or eight weeks now. She's doubled her size, even though she's a finicky eater -- she'd be happy to eat cat food all the time though! She now weighs more than six pounds and has just had her last shots. We are still having to stay away from the park but should be there by next week. I'm attaching a couple of pictures of her. When did her brother leave? Who took him? When do you expect another litter of poochons? Someone saw Kelsi the other day and wants one in a couple of months.

I wanted to send you these pictures of the puppies I bought from you 2 days before Christmas for my boys. We named the Papillon Peppy because he is very...PEPPY! :) And the Peek-a-Poo Cuddles because he's so cuddly and calm :) They actually make the perfect couple and we enjoy them so much! They go EVERYWHERE with us. They are very good traveling dogs! They've already been camping two times, to the snow three times, baseball practice almost every day of the week and everyone falls in love with them :) Oh, and they LOVE bath time....they don't even mind the blow dryer!

I just want to tell you how much we love Phoebe our little Shipoo. She is such a smart and friendly puppy. She is very well behaved and easily trained, loves my toddler son (he loves her too!), and has such a great temperament. She adores our cat and our 100lb Lab and they love her. The decision to get a puppy was not one our family made lightly. Once we did decide, we knew exactly want we wanted -- a shichon. I looked for months to find a dog of this kind before I stumbled upon Jerry Burch's ad in the Sacramento Bee.
We chose our puppy before she was even born, and her arrival was greatly anticipated by our whole family!
Jerry kept us updated on our puppy's progress and periodically sent pictures. He was patient with my many questions and responded promptly. He even met us part way when we picked up our puppy.
We couldn't be happier! We have a healthy, adorable puppy who is already an important part of our family!
It was truly a pleasure getting a puppy from Jerry Burch; he was so easy to work with, and it has been a wonderful experience. We found Jerry to be friendly, knowledgeable, conscientious, patient, and so much more! We would recommend him to anyone wanting a puppy (and we already have)!

Dear Jerry,
Our daughter gave us the "Gift Of A Life Time," when she gave us our puppy as a Christmas gift. Our granddaughter, Sara, chose his name, though she did not know that at the time. She said he looked like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, which happens to be one of her favorite things in the whole wide world. The kids called him Puppy Butter Cup while they were hiding him from Grandpa. (I was in on the big surprize) It was up to papa to pick his name and he decided it would be Sir Reese. He did that to make Sara happy, but the name did suit him. He is definitely a perfect lap dog, and I might add, he is already trained. So far he is happy to chew his toys and he does know what is his. He has the run of the house because he is so good. At night he goes right to his kennel carrier, to bed, and he sleeps close to our bed. He never makes a peep unless he needs to go out and potty,but lately he sleeps through the night. He is our perfect little "Puppy Butter Cup". Thank you for this wonderful breed. He has a good home and everyone loves him.

All is going well with Fu Fu. We are so delighted to have her. She is fiesty, attentive and thinks she is wonderful. Loves to play all the time. Now at 13 1/2 weeks she is very agile, loves to fetch and of course bite. All of our friends think she is so cute and 3 of them would love to have one, they all currently have dogs.
